# About TaxWeave

TaxWeave is built and operated by TaxWeave, PBC, based in Richmond, Virginia. It is the context layer tax firms run on. It holds everything your firm knows about a client, and puts skills to work on top of it.

## Built by a practicing CPA

TaxWeave is built and used daily by Sam Leon, CPA (NY, VA), with more than 13 years of experience in tax firms up to Director level. The product is designed to work with the email, document, and client-list tools firms already use.

## Available today

Client context, engagement status, and 1040 workpaper preparation are available now. Completed-return review and automatic engagement phase advancement are in development. Business-return workflows are targeted for the 2027 tax filing season. TaxWeave does not file returns; your firm reviews the work and files in its existing tax software.

## Our public benefit commitment
