Open a client. See the emails, documents, and deadlines together.
TaxWeave is the context layer tax firms run on. It brings client emails, documents, notes, deadlines, and engagement status into one client view. Your team can understand what changed and what it is waiting on without rebuilding the story from separate threads and folders.
Client context and Ask Vira: visual transcript
Visual descriptions of silent demos, using synthetic information. These describe the recorded interface, not guaranteed processing speed, time savings, or availability of planned features.
- 00:00–00:04 A synthetic client’s Overview shows the current engagement, a note field, Vira’s Take, and a signal log.
- 00:04–00:08 Ask Vira opens beside the client overview. The user asks, “Where are we at with Nina today?”
- 00:08–00:17 Vira responds with dated client updates and a list of sources from the file. The overview remains visible alongside the answer.
Connect the tools your firm uses
Bring the client list as a CSV or Google Sheet. Supported email connections are Gmail and Outlook; supported document connections are Google Drive and OneDrive. Account connections are configured during onboarding with an authorized firm representative.
Your team can keep working in those supported tools. TaxWeave supplies the client context around that work, so a preparer can see the relevant information together before deciding what to do next.
A client view instead of another search through the inbox
Open a client to see its emails, documents, notes, deadlines, and engagement status. Vira, the assistant inside TaxWeave, helps explain what changed and what the engagement is waiting on.
For a preparer, the value is a clearer starting point. For a reviewer or firm owner, it is a way to understand an engagement without asking another team member to reconstruct the history. The information is available for your team to assess; professional judgment still belongs to your firm.
Use that context when the preparation starts
1040 Workpaper Prep uses source documents to produce a reviewable workpaper. Client context, engagement status, and 1040 workpaper preparation are live capabilities.
Completed-return review and automatic engagement phase advancement are in development. Do not plan a current workflow around those unfinished features.
What it connects to—and what comes later
Available now: Google Sheets, CSV upload, Gmail, Google Drive, Outlook, and OneDrive. Bring access to the supported accounts and your client list to the onboarding call.
Dropbox, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Calendar, Fathom, and Granola are planned. TaxWeave does not currently replace a client portal, and a connection to your existing tax or practice-management software is not implied by using the tools above.
Start with your firm's actual workflow
TaxWeave may fit if email and cloud documents contain much of the information your preparers need, but finding the current state of a client still takes too much effort. If your documents live in a different system, raise that on the introductory call so the fit can be assessed honestly.
Pricing is per client, with graduated bands and no seat charges. The standard monthly minimum is $99. See the pricing page for the full bands, calculator, and conditional founding offer.
Request an introductory call to review your setup. A short evaluation agreement follows the call. Read the privacy policy for current data-handling details; SOC 2 is in progress.
