Connect your assistant to TaxWeave
1. Connect your assistant to TaxWeave
MCP connects your assistant to current TaxWeave product facts, documentation, pricing, and optional updates signup. No TaxWeave account, API key, or sign-in is needed.
Copy this URL into your assistant’s connector settings. Pasting it into a chat does not connect the server.
Claude chat or ChatGPT:
- Claude chat: open Customize → Connectors → Add → Add custom connector. Name it TaxWeave, paste the server URL, choose No sign-in, and add it. In a new chat, open + → Connectors and enable TaxWeave.
- ChatGPT: open Plugins → + → Add custom MCP server. Name it TaxWeave, paste the server URL, and choose No authentication. Review the displayed warning, create and install the plugin, then select TaxWeave with @ in a supported chat. Availability and labels depend on your plan and workspace.
Claude Code: Run this in your terminal, then start a new Claude Code session. Check the connection with claude mcp list or /mcp.
Codex: Run this in your terminal, then start a new Codex session. Check the connection with codex mcp list.
2. Ask a question and check the tool call
Paste this into your connected assistant. Look for TaxWeave tool activity in the answer; a website search alone does not confirm the MCP connection.
Connecting does not subscribe you. Updates signup requires your explicit permission and email address. Opening the server URL in a browser may show “405 Method Not Allowed”; use the setup steps above.
